a moment of bliss founded in the south
Hey y'all!
I am Tausha, the girl behind the woodburning and wood cutting.
I'm an early 30-something with the cutest pup named Jeffery. I have a deep commitment to black coffee and my go-to is a triple tall Americano. I was born in Martinsburg, West Virginia, raised in the country of Barnwell, South Carolina, and now I'm settling in the beauty of Greenville, South Carolina (that's the short version-Clemson and China are somewhere in between).
I grew up enjoying art. I can remember getting Christmas gifts of pastels and paper and being excited in high school when the bell rang and my next class was art with Mr. Morris; however, I fell in the horrid trap of comparison. I tucked away my tools, believing I had nothing to offer. I let the dust gather and I hid my full potential. I believe that we can all resonate with this.
In April 2016, after two years of being intrigued by modern calligraphy, I finally decided to give it a try with a friend at the time. I fell in love! What started as marker and paper has grown into something much, much more.
I have always said that you tend to find yourself again in what you create. I couldn't deny my roots and the lifestyle that I always loved:
The country roads of West Virginia.
The southern warmth and hospitality of Barnwell.
The classy life of Greenville.
I finally let my lettering meet woodburning and every angle of me integrated into the country chic style that I've always known.
I hope that you find a piece of home in every product offered and that you enjoy a part of who I am.
Thank you for bringing bliss to Southern Bliss Designs.
